Ippy + Story + Mahojin.
We trained the LoRA behind Mahojin's Ippy generator, crafting custom background training data so Story's shape-shifting mascot could be anywhere, doing anything.
Ippy is the mascot for Story (Story Protocol). Our partner Mahojin, a Web3-powered AI image generation and remix layer, created a space where users can generate images of Ippy and share their creations with the world. Thousands of images of Ippy have now been generated on their platform.
This was an interesting one: Ippy is a character that takes many different forms, shapes, and sizes, morphing between them with different facial features. We took the project on knowing we would need to create additional assets, because the training data had no backgrounds. So we got to work crafting a wide variety of background styles, some realistic and some not, to use as training data. That taught the model the idea that Ippy could be anywhere: running a race on a track, high up in the clouds, or dancing at a party.
