AI strategy from people
who build.

Everyone's telling you to 'do AI.' We'll tell you which three things are actually worth doing, what they'll change in your business, and then, if you want, we'll build them.

SEC. 01 THE BRIEF

The outcome: a short, ruthless list of where AI genuinely moves your business: sequenced, de-risked, and backed by a team that can build every line of it.

AI advice is everywhere and mostly useless, because it’s generic: the same ten use cases, the same breathless slides, no contact with your actual workflows, margins, or data. Real AI strategy starts from the specific (this intake process, this backlog, this team) and ends with a build order, not a vision statement.

That’s what we do. And because we’re the same people who ship these systems, our recommendations carry a builder’s accountability: we don’t put anything on your roadmap we wouldn’t be willing to implement, with our name on it, next month.

What does an engagement actually produce?

Clarity you can act on. We map your workflows and find the friction AI genuinely removes, and then rank the opportunities by payoff, risk, and readiness. You leave knowing your first project (usually a quick, measurable win), your second and third (the compounding ones), the data and privacy groundwork each requires, and the honest list of things that sound like AI projects but aren’t worth your money yet.

Why does “strategy plus implementation” matter so much?

Because the gap between them is where AI initiatives die. When strategy is delivered by people who will never touch the build, it optimizes for sounding impressive. When the same team owns both, strategy optimizes for working: scope gets realistic, risks get named early, and the roadmap’s first item starts moving instead of gathering dust. Slideware consultants have no skin in the game. We do.

Where does this fit with everything else?

Consulting is the front door for teams that want direction before commitment. From there, builds flow to AI development, customer-facing wins often start with AI search visibility, and forward-looking businesses plan their move onto the agentic web with agent readiness. Prefer to start with hard evidence about your own digital presence? The audit delivers it.

SEC. 02 THE DELIVERABLES

What you walk away with.

  • An honest map of where AI pays off in your business (and where it won't)
  • A prioritized roadmap with the quick wins sequenced before the moonshots
  • Clear-eyed guidance on data readiness, privacy, and risk before they bite
  • Build/buy/skip calls on the tools you're being pitched every week
  • A direct line to the team that can implement every recommendation
SEC. 03 FIELD QUESTIONS

Questions from the field.

How is your AI consulting different from a big-firm engagement?

Two ways: we're builders, and we're accountable to the build. Recommendations come from people who ship AI systems weekly, so every item on your roadmap is something we could start implementing Monday and would stake our name on. No 200-slide deliverable that ends with 'hire implementers.' The strategy and the execution are the same team.

We're not a tech company. Is AI even relevant to us?

The businesses winning with AI mostly aren't tech companies; they're services firms, distributors, manufacturers, and clinics automating intake, answering from their own documents, and shortening quote cycles. If your team does repetitive knowledge work, AI is relevant. The question is which use case is first, and that's exactly what consulting answers.

What if the honest answer is that we shouldn't build anything yet?

Then that's the answer you get. Sometimes the roadmap says 'fix your data first,' 'buy this instead of building,' or 'wait: this use case can't tolerate the error rate yet.' A consultant who never says no is a salesperson. Our credibility is worth more than one engagement.

Can you help us evaluate AI vendors and tools we're being pitched?

Yes: it's one of the most common requests. We separate what a tool actually does from what its demo implies, check it against your real workflow and data, and give you a plain-English verdict: adopt, trial, or pass, and why.
